The Birth of Baby Boy | Wellspan Gettysburg

When plans change in birth, every little detail that you hoped for from the beginning starts to feel like it is slipping through your fingers.   It is a difficult feeling to have, even more difficult when you did nothing wrong, and cannot do anything about it.

Luckily for this family, they made all of the right decisions–at exactly the right times.

I was fortune enough to be invited inside the OR while baby was born and be able to memorialize that moment for them–even in the midst of ever other plan, dream, and vision they had fell through their grip.   I am forever grateful to the staff who made this happen for this mom, who wanted nothing more than to have these moments of her baby being brought Earthside.
